1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Drip Ratio by Kai Ventures LLC ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Free Features & Accounts

Drip Ratio offers free tools you can use without an account, including the recipe ratio scaler ("Try the scaler") and our brewing guides and recipe articles. Creating a free account lets you save your own recipes and sync them across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, for providing accurate information when creating an account, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
  • Upload malicious content, spam, or any material that infringes on others' rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' experience
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, machine setups, and other content you create within Drip Ratio. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your recipes or personal data.

5. Intellectual Property

The Drip Ratio name, logo, design, brewing guides, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of the App's creators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

6. Premium Features & Purchases

Drip Ratio is free to use, with an optional one-time purchase that unlocks premium features. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Premium features are provided "as-is" and may be updated or modified over time.

7. Advertisements

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant content. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the presence of advertisements as part of the free-tier experience.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Drip Ratio is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use or engage in activity that harms the App or its users. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by posting the updated version within the App. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
