Iced Latte
Espresso poured over cold milk and ice — smooth and refreshing.

Ingredients
Amounts for 1 serving.
- Espresso: 36 g
- Cold Milk: 180 ml
Instructions
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 36 g) and let it cool slightly, or chill it.
- Fill a tall glass with plenty of ice.
- Pour about 180 ml of cold milk over the ice.
- Pour the espresso over the milk so it cascades down in ribbons.
- Stir before drinking, and sweeten to taste if you like.
Keep it from tasting watery
The enemy of an iced latte is dilution from melting ice. Use plenty of ice — counterintuitively, a full glass melts more slowly than a few cubes — and consider freezing leftover coffee into ice cubes so the drink only gets stronger as it melts. Pouring the espresso last gives that pretty layered look, but stir well before drinking so the flavor is even.
