What is Drip Ratio?

Drip Ratio is a free, mobile-first app for people who care how their coffee tastes. Whether you brew with a V60, an AeroPress, a French press, or a full espresso setup, the hardest part of making consistently good coffee is repeating what worked last time. Drip Ratio fixes that: store a recipe once, and every ingredient scales proportionally whenever you change the number of servings, so your coffee-to-water ratio never drifts by accident.

Why the ratio matters most

The ratio of coffee to water is the single biggest lever on how your cup tastes — more than the kettle, more than the gadgets. A 1:16 ratio means one gram of coffee for every sixteen grams of water. Get that number steady and every other adjustment, from grind size to pour speed, finally tells you something useful.
